The Travels of Carol and Jeff as they experience life around the globe.

Ida

Ida glad you did not visit us, but your kids (feeder bands ) did cause quite a mess and stayed way longer than I expected!  I mean they first started coming on Saturday and didn't leave till Tuesday.  Even now on Wednesday the gulf is quite rough. Guess that is why they say the east side of a hurricane is the beast.  It is a tropical storm for days. While happily my 2 condos seem fine, I know of several in the complex that took on water and a road was washed out nearby.  Really we did not need another 12 inches of rain either - we are more than 27 inches over for the year.  Truthfully I could have done with less wind too.  I could hardly open our front door for a couple of days!

Sunday pictures
